I am so incredibly excited right now, because I just read the news and watched the video announcement about the release of Reason 11. 😃
The DAW that will always have a special place in my heart as it got me started with music composition and production in the early 2000s.
The Reason Rack Plugin
The reason (pun intended) I am so happy and excited now, is that with the release of Reason 11 comes a brand new plugin of the Reason Rack that you will be able to use in another DAW.
This means that myself, as a Logic Pro X user since 2014, will be able to use all the amazing instruments, synthesizers, effects and the rack workflow right in Logic. At least soon, because the VST3 version will be available from the launch, while the AU version follows shortly.
New Tools & Effects
Reason 11 also brings several new tools & effects to the rack, which you will be able to use in the Reason Rack Plugin as well:
- Quartet Chorus Ensemble
- Sweeper Modulation Effect
- Master Bus Compressor
- Channel Dynamics
- Channel EQ
