Make the main motif and melody empowering and uplifting by writing in fortissimo dynamics, layering instruments both in unison and octaves, and allow the spotlight to shine on that main theme.
If you want the heroic vibe to be noble and graceful, like a king or queen, then go for lyrical legato lines, smooth transitions, and bold notes but not overly strong dynamics.
